Itinerary

  • Brazil

Brazil is the largest and most populous country in South America. It is the fifth largest country by geographical area, and the fifth most populous country in the world. Its population comprises the majority of the world's Portuguese speakers. Bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, Brazil has a coastline of over 7,491 kilometers (4,655 mi). It has a border with almost every other South American country. Brazil was a colony of Portugal from 1500 until its independence in 1822. Initially independent as the Empire of Brazil, the country has been a republic since 1889. Brazil is the world's tenth largest economy. Brazil is also home to a diversity of wildlife, natural environments, and extensive natural resources in a variety of protected habitats. The capitol is Brasilia, however, most international flights go into Sao Paulo, the country's largest city. Top sights include Rio de Janeiro, Salvador de Bahia, Manaus, Iguazu Falls, and the Patanal.

  • São Paulo

São Paulo is the largest city in Brazil, and the continent. It is also the richest city of Brazil. Greater São Paulo, which includes adjacent municipalities, has a population close to 20 million, making it the third largest in the Americas, and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world. Infamous for its traffic and sprawl, it is not a tourist draw - but does have very good flight connections to the rest of the continent through the São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport.

    Day 2: São Paulo

Enjoy a private transfer to Interlagos Race Circuit with vehicle, driver and guide. At the end of the day you will be transfered back at your hotel.

In the 1970's, the Interlagos Circuit became the lucky charm of local racers as 3 Brazilians would go on to win the event that decade. In the 3 decades to follow only 3 more drivers from the country have taken the checkered flag on home soil, each winning the Grand Prix twice. All of the drivers will take to the circuit on Friday in preparation for Saturday's Qualfying time trials. Watch as the teams navigate the difficult and bumpy terrain in pursuit of the fastest lap time.

View the morning and afternoon practice sessions from the Orange Tree Club, located on one of the most difficult corners of the Interlagos circuit, which has become very popular with serious racing fans who like to experience the action from close quarters. The Club was named after a long-extinct tree that stood guard over one of the most difficult corners of this classic racing circuit in the early fifties.

Experience the true atmosphere of a Grand Prix in the afternoon where Formula 1 drivers, hospitality trucks, sponsors, VIP press, media and teams are based. Experience the whole atmosphere behind the race area.

Arrive at the Interlagos Circuit today for the qualifying sessions of one of the most important F1 competitions on the schedule. It's a day full of excitement for Formula One fans around the world. Be sure to watch your favourite driver race for his opportunity at the pole position on Sunday as you experience the joy of this grand event. The fastest lap Saturday will decide the pole positions on race day and determine who will be the driver to beat on Sunday. In the evening enjoy some time at leisure.

    Day 4: São Paulo

Enjoy a private transfer to Interlagos Race Circuit with vehicle, driver and guide. At the end of the day you will be transfered back at your hotel.

Return to the Interlagos Circuit for the final race day. Considered to be one of the toughest tracks on the current round of Formula One circuits. Having been built on unstable ground, Interlagos' surface is full of lumps and bumps. Unlike the majority, this circuit runs anti-clockwise and is at high-altitude, so races here are particularly hard on the drivers. The ever-present heat and humidity of Brazil also add to the driver's discomfort. The winner of the last race of the season will not only have to focus on the track but the other drivers too as this track provides ample opportunity for over taking positions.

    Accommodation: L`Hotel Porto Bay
  • Day 5: São Paulo

Enjoy a private airport transfer with private vehicle, driver and English speaking Guide.

    Testimonials

"We had a great trip and have lots of wonderful memories and pictures. Highlights were certainly the birthday party Bien arranged for us on the Mekong Delta, (out of this world), the Kung-Fu demonstration Tan organized for us in Hue, the elephant rides through the gates of Angkor Wat that Rith arranged. (Our elelphant driver played a leaf flute while we walked along the jungle and the monkeys were swinging in the trees. The kids couldn't get enough of it.) It really was superb. Thank you so much for all of your help and assistance with all of our questions and last minute changes. We really appreciated it and the individual attention you gave to us all."
