Itinerary
U.A.E.
Dubai is one of the seven emirates and most populous city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula. It is a relatively new city, and only a few hundred years ago was a simple fishing village. Dubai has the largest population and is the second largest emirate by area, after Abu Dhabi. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the only two emirates to possess veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature. Dubai has been ruled by the Al Maktoum dynasty since 1833. The emirates' current ruler, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is also the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE. The emirate's revenues are from trade, real estate and financial services. Revenues from petroleum and natural gas contribute less than 6% of Dubai's US$ 37 billion economy (2005). Dubai has attracted worldwide attention through innovative real estate projects and sports events, and its emergence as a world business hub.
Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the capital and second most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), after Dubai. It is also the seat of government of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, which is ruled by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan – the current ruling Emir of the UAE. Abu Dhabi lies on a T-shaped island jutting into the Persian Gulf from the central western coast. Approximately 860,000 people lived in Abu Dhabi as of 2007. One of the world's largest producers of oil, Abu Dhabi has actively attempted to diversify its economy in recent years through investments in financial services and tourism.

Day 4: Abu Dhabi
On the morning of November 12/2011, a private vehicle and driver will pick you up from your Abu Dhabi hotel and transfer you to the track for two timed laps. On the previous day, November 11th, each car manufacturer’s racing team sends its vehicles and drivers onto the track for two practice runs. Today, each manufacturer reviews the compiled information from the previous days test runs, and makes modifications to their vehicles for the purpose of having them perform at maximum potential. These tweaks and adjustments are then put to the test on the track again, where after this lap, each vehicle makes a final pit stop, to re-adjust all the tweaks, and re-gas each vehicle with just enough fuel to perform a lap at maximum speed. This lap is often referred to as the qualifying or positional run. After this final run, the starting positions are set for the tomorrow’s big race. After the events completion you will be transferred back to your hotel.
The highly sophisticated Yas Marina Circuit represents a cutting edge racing circuit. With a significant investment in sporting technology and infrastructure this track is a stunning feat of engineering and design excellence. With the inaugral Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2009 this new 5.555km circuit has many unique features that offer an awe-inspiring experience for drivers and spectators. A mixture of the Marina and desert make this circuit a must see. The circuit boasts a stunning 5-star hotel which straddles the track itself, a yacht club and a 60m solar powered Sun Tower. This new stop on the circuit has been turning heads and will surely become an annual fixture moving forward.
Formula One's Paddock Club offers unrivalled views, unparalleled access, seamless service, and the finest cuisine available. Enjoy access to the Club Suite or Golden Card Lounge designed for individuals and small groups, equipped with TV screens and a bar area. Walkabouts through the circuit and pit lanes will provide any entusiast a behind the scenes pass into the world of Formula One. Settle in at the open bar with champagne and take an opportunity to meet with the other Paddock Club members during a gourmet lunch paired with fine wines. Grab your Official Program and complimentary ear plugs as you head to the prime viewing facilities located in the pit building where priviledged viewing positions are available.
