Itinerary
U.A.E.
Dubai is one of the seven emirates and most populous city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula. It is a relatively new city, and only a few hundred years ago was a simple fishing village. Dubai has the largest population and is the second largest emirate by area, after Abu Dhabi. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the only two emirates to possess veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature. Dubai has been ruled by the Al Maktoum dynasty since 1833. The emirates' current ruler, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is also the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE. The emirate's revenues are from trade, real estate and financial services. Revenues from petroleum and natural gas contribute less than 6% of Dubai's US$ 37 billion economy (2005). Dubai has attracted worldwide attention through innovative real estate projects and sports events, and its emergence as a world business hub.
Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the capital and second most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), after Dubai. It is also the seat of government of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, which is ruled by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan – the current ruling Emir of the UAE. Abu Dhabi lies on a T-shaped island jutting into the Persian Gulf from the central western coast. Approximately 860,000 people lived in Abu Dhabi as of 2007. One of the world's largest producers of oil, Abu Dhabi has actively attempted to diversify its economy in recent years through investments in financial services and tourism.
Dubai
Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and is one of the country's main cities, sometimes called "Dubai City" to distinguish it from the emirate. Famous for its soaring skyline rising from the desert, it is a relatively new, world-class city, which is growing quickly. Famous sights like the Burj Dubai, the world's only six star hotel, and the massive Palms mini-city, and its indoor ski hills - its an exciting city and worth a stopover.
Africa, Arabia & Indian Ocean
Embark on a wonderful cruise journey along the coastal waters of Africa, where stunning wildlife encounters await in the sunsoaked desert plains. Cruise the Indian Ocean into the Arabian Sea, to visit the resort metropolis of Dubai, or experience the majestic beauty of oil-rich shiekdoms in Arabia. Find yourself in Egypt in the presence of the oldest Wonder of the Ancient World, remnants of antiquity we can only begin to comprehend.
Arabian Sea Cruise
Relax aboard your cruise vessel as you sail the waters of the Arabian Sea, crossing millennia-old trade routes from the ancient Age of Sail. Find yourself making landfall at historic and cultural hot spots throughout your voyage, allowing you to explore the tropical splendor of Arabian and South Asian ports of call.
Oman
Officially the Sultanate of Oman, is an Arab country in southwest Asia on the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders the United Arab Emirates on the northwest, Saudi Arabia on the west and Yemen on the southwest. The coast is formed by the Arabian Sea on the south and east and the Gulf of Oman on the northeast. Excellent tourist facilities are available in the major cities of Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, and Nizwa and can increasingly be found elsewhere in the country.
Muscat
Muscat is the capital and largest city of the Sultanate of Oman. The city lies on the Arabian Sea along the Gulf of Oman and is in the proximity of the strategic Straits of Hormuz. The rocky Western Al Hajar Mountains dominate the landscape of Muscat. Known since the early 1st century CE as an important trading port between the west and the east, Muscat was ruled by various indigenous tribes as well as foreign powers such as the Persians and the Portuguese Empire at various points in its history. A regional military power in the 18th century, Muscat's influence extended as far as East Africa and Zanzibar. Since the ascension of Qaboos bin Said as Sultan of Oman in 1970, Muscat has experienced rapid infrastructural development that has led to the growth of a vibrant economy and a multi-ethnic society.

The Portuguese built Khasab at the beginning of the 17th century at the height of their naval presence in the region. The natural harbor gave shelter from tough seas. Access to the area by land was virtually impossible until a modern coast road was built, allowing fast access from the UAE, making Khasab a popular weekend destination.
